Aristotle was a Greek philosopher and polymath, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Western philosophy and science.

 

He was a student of Plato and the teacher of Alexander the Great. Aristotle made significant contributions to various fields, including metaphysics, ethics, logic, politics, biology, and physics. His works cover a wide range of subjects, including logic (Organon), ethics (Nicomachean Ethics), politics (Politics), metaphysics (Metaphysics), and natural philosophy (Physics).

 

He is known for his emphasis on empirical observation and logical reasoning, laying the foundation for much of Western thought and inquiry.
