Newton

1643 — 1727

Isaac Newton was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and natural philosopher who is widely considered one of the most influential scientists in history. He made groundbreaking contributions to various fields of study and is best known for his laws of motion and universal gravitation.

Newton was born in Woolsthorpe, England, and displayed exceptional intellectual abilities from a young age. His most significant work, “Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy” (commonly known as the “Principia”), was published in 1687 and laid the foundation for classical mechanics. In the “Principia,” Newton presented his three laws of motion, which are fundamental principles governing the behavior of objects.

Newton's contributions to science and mathematics were immense and laid the groundwork for modern physics. His work provided a comprehensive framework for understanding the behavior of objects on Earth and in space.
